For some, running a restaurant is a business. For us, it is our calling. Our passion for food and fine dining comes first, business second. We are a chef-driven restaurant. For you, that means fine dining at its best. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Mike Davis began his career in the restaurant and hospitality industry at the young age of 16, working at the Bayou Café in his hometown of Shelby, Ohio. He first joined the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) family in 2001 as a server at Mitchell’s Ocean Club while pursuing his degree from The Ohio State University.
Davis later held positions at Cap City Grandview and Mitchell’s Steakhouse. After several years working for Tomatoes for Tomorrow, where he developed, built and maintained community gardens in urban areas of central Ohio, Davis rejoined CMR in 2017 as the dining manager of Cap City Fine Diner’s newest location in Dublin.
Now general manager of the Dublin restaurant, Davis says the greatest lesson he has learned in his professional career is to stay humble. His advice for those interested in pursuing a career in restaurants and hospitality is to always put people first, both the associates and guests.
Davis currently resides in Dublin, Ohio, with his wife, Heather and three children, Brayden, Tori and Erik. When he’s not at work, he can be found hanging out with family, entertaining friends, traveling and watching his kids play sports.
