Yes! Cap City Fine Diner in Gahanna offers a popular happy hour Monday through Friday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm in the bar with special pricing on select handcrafted cocktails, well spirits, select wines by the glass, draft and domestic beers. The Happy Hour food menu features special pricing on favorites from Cap City’s Appetizer menu including our famous Blue Cheese Potato Chips, Hot and Sour Calamari, Tamarind Glazed Chicken Wings and Old Bay Shrimp Cocktail. Cap City Gahanna has one Cap City Gahanna has one private dining room accommodating 12 guests that may be closed off from the main dining room. Several banquet menu options are offered to help plan a menu that is sure to please your guests. To reserve the private dining room, please call the restaurant and the team will be happy to assist. There’s something for everyone, sweet and savory, from Bananas Foster French Toast to Eggs on Hash, Classic Eggs Benedict, Smoked Salmon & Bagel, Chicken & Biscuits and more. What is Cap City famous for?

Cap City Fine Diner & Bar is one of Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ earliest and most popular restaurants. Their Famous Large Plates take diner favorites to the next level. The Diner Meatloaf is served with buttermilk-chive mashed potatoes, wild mushrooms, broccoli, chili onion rings and BBQ gravy. It’s the same story across other Large Plate offerings including the Balsamic Chicken, Shrimp Scampi Pasta, Crispy Fish and Chips and Ponzu Glazed Salmon.

It wouldn’t be a diner without Blue Plate Specials, right? The daily specials draw regular fans for
Southern Fried Chicken (Monday), Chicken Pot Pie (Tuesday), Liver and Onions (Wednesday), Flat Iron Pot Roast (Thursday), Cameron’s Walleye (Friday), Crab Cakes (Saturday) and Rigatoni Bolognese (Sunday). These selections can change on occasion so visit the Blue Plate Special Menu at the website to confirm.

A large selection of bright, fresh, Diner Salads including BBQ Chopped Salad, Two Apple Spinach Salad, and the Black and Blue Salmon Salad are hugely popular. Diner Sandwiches such as the All American Cheeseburger, the Philly Cheese Steak and Diner Meatloaf Melt are huge fan favorites.

Where’s the best place to park and is there valet service?

Cap City Fine Diner & Bar is located at 1301 Stoneridge Drive in the Stoneridge Plaza, Gahanna, Ohio, a northeastern suburb of Columbus. Ample parking in a surface lot in front of the restaurant is available. Valet is not required since parking and the entrance are quite close.

Is there a Wine List?

Wines by the glass and bottle are offered at Cap City Gahanna. A well-curated selection of sparkling, white and red wines is available. Are Reservations required?

Reservations are not required but they are recommended. The dining room can be particularly busy in the later part of the week. Brunch can also be busy. If OpenTable is showing no availability for your preferred reservation day and time, we recommend calling the restaurant.
