For some, running a restaurant is a business. For us, it is our calling. Our passion for food and fine dining comes first, business second. We are a chef-driven restaurant. For you, that means fine dining at its best. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable culinary experience.
Brad Beam, general manager of Cap City Fine Diner & Bar in Cincinnati, has years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, most notably with Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern (RBRT). Joining RBRT in 2006 and growing from a server/bartender to a general manager over the years, Beam is excited to join the Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) family.
A native of Arcanum, Ohio, Beam’s greatest lesson he has learned in his professional career thus far is, “putting your people first and building relationships. It has been the single most impactful lesson I have learned.” Beam also raves about the culture within CMR and RBRT. “The culture is second to none.”
When asked what advice he has for those interested in pursuing a career in restaurants and hospitality, Beam says, “There will be some long and stressful days, however, there is nothing more fulfilling than making a busy shift look easy and showing your guests what genuine hospitality looks like. The friendships and bonds you make in this industry will last a lifetime.”
Beam currently resides in Maineville, Ohio, with his wife, Katherine. Outside of work, his interests include traveling, hiking through national parks, and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals play football. In his new role, Beam most looks forward to showing Cincinnati what CMR’s culture, food & hospitality is all about.
